The aim of this standard is to set out requirements and recommendations for good practice in professional beauty salon services where the safety and satisfaction of the client is important.
Some European countries make a distinction between wellness treatments and beauty treatments while other countries blend these principles. This European Standard applies to all of these services where they are provided by a beauty therapist.
